Collection: Smoke Cleansing Herbs & Smudge Sticks

Smudging and smoke cleansing are both practices that aim to cleanse a space or person using the fragrant smoke produced from burning various plant substances. Commonly used plant materials include palo santo, white sage, sweetgrass, sage, eucalyptus, rosemary, emu bush and juniper.

From the Indigenous cultures in Australia, such as the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, to the Chinese, Indian, Native American, African and even Scottish, various forms of smoke cleansing and smudging have been performed throughout the years for spiritual and ceremonial reasons, as well as practical reasons such as cleansing a space of illness etc.

In this collection, you will find a number of smoke cleansing sticks/ smudge sticks, particularly suited to the Australian landscape.

All of our smudge sticks have been grown and harvested in Australia from reputable suppliers and stock numbers are subject to climate and availability. We do not support overharvesting of traditional herbs.
