This wooden ornament was inspired by the nursery rhyme "Kookaburra" also known as  "Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree", written by Marion Sinclair. It features an original, signed acrylic painting of a Kookaburra, hand painted onto a wooden slice from an old gum tree, just as the iconic Australian nursery rhyme suggests!
