René Schönefeld’s Three Kings Resin Blend "Angelus" 30g Packet

René Schönefeld’s incense Angelus is made of a mixture of clear glazed siftings. Angelus has a classic, soft fragrance with sweet tones. As the blend is not very heavy, it is a popular incense mixture for relaxation and meditation purposes.

The incense siftings collected from the African Boswellia Papyrifera, Commiphora Myrrha and Boswellia Sacra, originate from Eritrea, Ethiopia, Sudan and Somalia. The siftings have been washed in perfume oils and coloured with pigments that are all EU-approved.

Angelus is an incense meant to be used in rituals or meditational purposes. Burning incense is a rich sensory experience and it should burn on charcoal tabs specifically designed for incense burning. These charcoal tabs are available here.

How to Use

• Set a charcoal tablet in a heatproof container such as a cauldron on a bed of sand or dirt (to help absorb the heat) and light the tablet. You can also pick the charcoal tablets up with charcoal tongs and set it alight prior to placing it in your container if that is preferred.
• Slowly fan or blow on the tablet.
• Only after the charcoal is aglow and stops crackling, put the resin incense on the top.
• Using a spoon or tweezers, drop the resin incense onto the tablet.
• Set aside enough time so that you can enjoy the ritual of incense burning.
