René Schönefeld’s Three Kings Resin Blend "Rafael" 30g Packet

René Schönefeld’s incense blend Rafaël is made of a mixture of green, red, black and clear pea-sized granules. Rafaël has a classic, oriental fragrance with sweet hints. The aroma is rich and deep refined with soft tones.

The incense granules are obtained from the African Boswellia Papyrifera and Commiphora Myrrha, as well as the Asian Styrax Benzoin. The granules have been washed in perfume oils and coloured with pigments that are all EU-approved.

The mixture Rafaël is an incense meant to be used in rituals or meditational purposes. Burning incense is a rich sensory experience and it should burn on charcoal tabs specifically designed for incense burning. These charcoal tabs are available here.

How to Use

• Set a charcoal tablet in a heatproof container such as a cauldron on a bed of sand or dirt (to help absorb the heat) and light the tablet. You can also pick the charcoal tablets up with charcoal tongs and set it alight prior to placing it in your container if that is preferred.
• Slowly fan or blow on the tablet.
• Only after the charcoal is aglow and stops crackling, put the resin incense on the top.
• Using a spoon or tweezers, drop the resin incense onto the tablet.
• Set aside enough time so that you can enjoy the ritual of incense burning.
